Ithaca Passes Rent Forgiveness

The Ithaca Tenants Union Successfully pushed the city legislature to pass the FIRST rent forgiveness legislation in the United States! Now, the State Department of Health has it in their hands to approve or deny the legislation. It is our job now to pressure them to let this through.

Grant Funding

We are excited to announce that we have received a $1,500 grant from the Catholic Charities Fund. This money will be used to hire a consultant, Pete Meyers, from the Tompkins County Workers Center.
