We’re uniting to cap rent increases with the Emergency Tenant Protection Act

Our rents keep going up — faster than we can afford to pay them. We’re rent burdened and being pushed out. We deserve affordability and stability. So we’re campaigning to cap rent increases on thousands of units in Ithaca.

We can do this by our city opting into the Emergency Tenant Protection Act (ETPA). But our landlords don’t want this to happen, because it would take away their opportunity to raise our rents without limit. It’s going to take hundreds of us working together to get this passed.
